About Us

Adelaide Elementary, named after the neighborhood where it is located, is a culturally inclusive and opportunity rich school serving scholars in grades PK-5. Our scholars are offered various learning opportunities inside and outside the classroom. Through intentional community partnerships and an active and engaged PTA, we organize offsite field trips and in-school guests to enrich the experience of our scholars through contextual learning. Scholars also enjoy participating in a wide variety of extracurricular activities, including spring track, Battle of the Books, Language Club, and a host of organized school-wide activities like Skate Night. Parents appreciate the ability to connect with school staff through monthly Coffee and Donuts with the principal, family advisory, and other organized school events.  

Most importantly, Adelaide is committed to continuous academic improvement. Through high expectations, rigorous instruction, and relationship building, our educators collaborate, utilize data and inclusive practices to create engaged scholars, critical thinkers, and compassionate lifelong learners. Student success is the goal of every staff member at Adelaide.
